Garden City Kansas | i would recommend you get a retrofit for that r12 system, that includes having to recover what you have in there and flush out. new condensor, evaporator and compressor. also new fittings so it fits r134a gauges. I do not recommend mixing refrigerants or putting in those aftermarket cheap fixmups.
I suggest finding a can real can of r12 to top it off or retrofit. in the long run i believe a retrofit would save you more money, since r12 cans are like in the 70 dollar range and r134a is around 7 dollars. | |
