| Please show me a big trailer shop that tig welds trailers. We have a very big trailer repair shop in our area that is in the fixes dump trailers that have turned over as well as perform waranty work for most dump trailer mfg's. They mig weld them all the time. Try putting a liner in a 40 foot dump with a tig. You will be there for days running over 80 feet of weld. Only time I seen them tig was on alum. tanks that needed fittings welded in. There is nothing wrong with a mig weld if you know what you are doing. | |
