| If you really want to do it your self, get a TIG welder with AC and frequency control. Find somebody to teach you how to use it and figure on a lot of pratice, stick welding steel expearence is no help. TIG is different. If you have ever done any OA gas welding, that is a big help in learning TIG. This is not cost or time effective to fix a few trailers, but if you want to learn, it is a good skill to have and you will also be able to weld most anything that can be welded with a TIG machine. TIG makes very high quality welds. | |
