Subject: RE: diesel price vs gas

Because there is a demand for it. Maybe the refining capacity is currently geared more toward gasoline vehicles. Diesel should be cheaper to produce.
I grew up thinking that a car had to have 8 cylinders & that anyone who was "green" was a tree hugging queen. After the terrorists became more active, Iran, Syria, the amount of time we are spending in Iraq, It is time we voluntarily started to doing what we can to minimize our consumption of fuel, or any energy source that would be replaced by purchasing fuel from the middle east.

Using a bypass filter and doing oil sampling, planning and minimizing the amount of driving, Using a bicycle for short trips. Having a BBQ at home rather than driving into town for lunch & dinner, Walking as much as possible, using a tow bar & towing a vehicle instead of having someone make a round trip when moving equipment. Using Annualized Geo-Solar heating or Passive Annual Heat Storage for a house or shop. We will either do this because we can, or more likely, wait until we have no other options.
