northwest tennessee | Really check your fuel too. I have had problems this summer with fuel. I have a 2955 that would stop around a half of a tank. I replaced the transfer pump and checked lines in tank and found nothing. The last time it stopped I got a wire and fished around in the tank and pulled out about an inch or two of jello looking stuff. I then went to the storage tank that I always drain completely before refilling and unscrewed the filter drain and nothing came out. I took it off and it was gummed up with sludge and balck crud. I have put additives for bacteria and think it is OK now. The fuel is getting worse all the time. Mine would surge at times and then quit. After a while it would start right back up. It was sucking that sludge up in the line. | |
