I can't think of much else to suggest on the head. We have the raised feather sheets to help feeding, but many have used the Johnson rock and dirt guard or the hose trick behind cutter bar. There is a wealth of information regardless of brand at the following link. http://www.harvesting.com/combine/directory.htm
