All 4430's had the air stack in front, because that's where the air cleaner is. early 4630's had the air stack in front, w/a kind of Mickey Mouse pipe back to the air cleaner,then they moved it to the rear position on the late ones. All the later models had the air cleaner on top of the engine, leaves more room for fuel tank up front..
