| We switched from a drill to a 12/23 Kinzie back in 1998. Iwouldn't think of going back to a drill, planter depth & seed spacing control is 10x better than a drill. As for yield, I don't think you will give up any yield. Our yields have steadily been improving, how much is due to better genetics & how much is because of better seed emergence is impossible to say but the yields have increased.
We had the hopper extensions on the Kinzie & it held around 65 bags
