| I'm having problems with my 5130. Tractor starts runs a few seconds and stops like it runs out of fuel. I restart somtimes 1 or 2 times then it keeps going. In field running at speed I have noticed what felt like the engine surging sometimes. I also saw the rpm gauge dropping to 1800 then going back to 2000rpm for no apparent reason. This has been happening all summer. I changed fuel filters and it seemed to help but only for about 50 hrs. It seems to be better with a full tank of fuel but I'm not really sure. Does this sound like an injector pump problem? Or a problem maybe in the fuel tank like a gooped up screen or somthing that maybe I could blow into the line and clear. Does a Maxum tank have a suction tube to the bottom that might have a hole? I always felt we had clean fuel, storage tank is 500 gal so it gets filled frequently and also pump has filter on it. So could anyone offer any suggestions? Please don't tell me bad injector pump. And a big thanks for any help!
