| I would really like to see where the M can't touch a 567. I have both and run them side-by-side continuously. In rotor cut straw or chopped cornstalks the M will run circles around the 567, which will fall flat on its face in these conditions. I have owned the deeres for over 10 years and while they were far superior in the past, the new M series now leads the pack. My JD guy stopped by today to talk up the 568. A few small improvements, but have they addressed some of the chronic problems?? The kick bar breakage...the weak pickup (only four bars)...Residue build-up where the gate closes... He wasn't sure about some of it. I am not saying that the 567 is a POS, because it is an awesome baler in many regards, but Vermeer is setting a new standard for me and what I expect in a baler. If you have a minute Chad, give me some details about your point of view. I hope your opinion doesn't just reflect color-blindness over actual experience. | |
