I've found a non-foaming type of detergent works best for cleaning a cooling system. Dishwasher detergent seems to work OK. You could probably pre-dissolve it if you were worried about leaving residue in the system. I've never had a problem just putting a few tablespoons in and letting circulation mix it up. It might take a couple of wash/rinse cycles to get it all out. "Warning-----this cleaning will get rid of the oil, but it will also clean out any silt around the sleeve seals, and may open up a leak that had plugged itself". JMHO Oliver Durand
