This is our 3rd season with a Redekop fine cut chopper on our 9600. We have been very happy with its performance. We are harvesting mostly grass seed. We opted for the hardfaced knives, they are a self sharpening design that seems to last a long time, 2 seasons per side. I believe that the sharpend knives use no more power as our fuel use has stayed the same.
