I appreciate all the responses I got regarding the dmi field cultivators, but I have yet another possibility. I'm looking at a 5033-30 (30') sunflower with S shanks (heavy danish tynes) that is probably a happy medium between the 25' finisher I'm using in front of corn planting and the 39' white 227 fc I use to level and run in front of bean planting. It would be nice to be a little wider, but it's $5K cheaper than the dmi and might even be a better fit (the dmi I'm looking at has 3 rows of spike harrow with a fuerst harrow behind the spikes - not quite what I'm looking for). Any thoughts on S tynes? Sunflower cultivators (it's a 1996 model, bought new in 99)? I'm intersted because I used to have a mid 80's sunflower and it was definitely built well, but it didn't have as much clearance as I need now.

Thank you very much,

Pat
