Southeast MN | I have a 2wd polaris with F-N-R, no low range. There are times when I wish it had low range, when checking fence or looking at crops when I just want to go slower but not stop completely. Spot spraying along fences is another time when the machine would seem "happier" to be in a lower range, it just sounds like it can't go much slower than 5-7 mph without the belt partially engaged.
The owner manual for mine covers all their models and it says to shift into low range when operating under 7 mph for extended periods of time.
You will use it a lot more than you expect too. The 3 wheeled golf cart gets the most use around the yard though because of easy on and off and no key switch to start it, just sit down and hit the gas. | |
