Crawford County, Robinson, Illinois | I don't know what your intended use is, but if I were planning to buy a tractor loader with that many horses, I would buy a dedicated end loader that was designed for the job. They will do much better than a farm tractor with a loader, and hold up longer under the abuse a loader takes. Now, if you plan to use the tractor for farming when you are not using the loader, you have a good idea, that is what most people do on the farm. My loader tractors are in the 70 horse range, and I leave the loaders on. There were times when I needed more in a loader tractor, but very seldom. I never had a dedicated large loader, but from those who have used them, I know that is the direction I would go if I wanted something that big. My loader tractors are handy no doubt, but they take much more abuse than a field tractor, both in clutch, tires, and front end parts. You will notice backhoes with loaders have a much heavier front end than a farm tractor, and there are good reasons for that. |
