| I've never bothered to look up the statute in KS, but I know you can come out of a situation with a whole hadfull of tickets, over weight on each axle it applies to, over weight on license, over weight on bridge laws (can be multiples if it fits), over weight on truck gross weight rating, overweight on tire rating (I've been told they have written a citation for each tire that was over) The list can get very long.
That's the reason you want to get an 85.5 gross on your license even if you don't run a spread, if you do get caught over a little you might still be below the 85.5 and not get a ticket for over gross. | |
