Central Iowa | We really like it. It was always aggravating to see beans roll off the front of the cutterbar and to see the top side of the sickle with clumps of cut off beans that would bounce off when you bumped turning around on the end. Now if the sickle cuts it off, it goes into the thresher. I wouldn't be without it. As far as power use, I don't think it is terrible, we went up a size on the combine when we got it, so it wasn't as noticeable as it might have been. The machine feeds so much smoother that it might make for a pretty fair trade on the power. | |
