| that is correct. in order to maximize the fine in nebraska you will get a fine for each offense
such as 1 fine for rear tandems and another for front and another for gross.
kansas doesn;t fine by percent. it is by weight so kansas will use the biggest weight violation and base fine on that. for instance if 35k on front and rear tandems 3 cents a pound would be $30 for front tandem fine and 30 for rear. but for bridge formula you are allowed 68k so yo are overweight 2000 and the fine for 2000 is 5 cents pound or $100 so most likely cop will write you for bridge violation. in addition you could also get one for over on tag depending on tag but will not get one for over on the tandems if you get it for bridge violation.
