You can have 15 percent over, I think, but since Billybob said 10 percent, I will have to check. That also does not apply to a single axle. You can't have over 20000 on a single axle, but are allowed either 10 or 15 over on a tandem. It isn't harvest yet, you can't overload unless you are hauling from the field is my understanding. I have heard of some tremendous fines for being overloaded and would like to have something to go by. The DOT guys are not very helpful, they act like it is information you should not have so I would rather find the information from another source.

It is said the DOT in Nebraska are some of the worst in the country. I have only been stopped once and from my experience I can't say they were unreasonable, but maybe I was lucky.
