When I was in Austalia in 94 my "header" would do 120 acres a day average (180 acre non stop) TR85 25ft header (5000hrs totally rooted 36 bearings and plenty other problems) but the guy who worked with me was on an axial flow 1460 (5700hrs at start) with a 30ft head and averaged 260 acres per day over 58 days. Yields were 20-50 bushels wheat 10-20 lupins. 22000 ish acres I reckon that was pretty good for 2 old girls.

I have a 1640 axial flow and 180 tonnes in a day is a good days work over 10 hrs. My neighbour runs a 450 Lexion (Claas) did 270 tonnes over the same amount of time. Guess his depreciation cancels that out and this year with Gorden Bars I know she'll do 20 tonnes an hour. She is a little (rusty) beast.

Cheers BB
