| A trailer big enough to haul a 1486 will likely sit a minimum of 3' off the ground, right? With a break that close to the housing, and welding an allready weak axle with only half, if half, a hub to support the tractor,......If you start driving that thing up the ramps it will put qhite a bit of strain on that hub/axle and if it breaks then, or even when you crest the top of the ramps,.............
If you have any way to winch it on the trailer, that would be way safer. Dont need to hear about a broken farmer and a broken tractor.
Personally, I would put a new axle in since it broke so close to the housing.
