I baled a many a bale with an 853 baler. If memory serves me right the bottom roller had weld beads run on it. The previous owner had done this. If a bale didn't start all you had to do was throttle the tractor back to idle and the bale would start. At one time there were 7 of these balers within 2 miles of me. If you want to try this I'll find out how it was done.
