| who mentions the flex (oscillation) difference between air ride and hendrickson or spring ride.
and there is difference between company in how they make air ride, volvo and navistar do not fix the front side of the air leaf which helps and the new pete and kw went to a leaf spring on front of air leaf, freightliner has a fixed front attachment with the only flex from the rubber bushing insert it is the worst for lack of flex especially with a single air leaf instead of double air leaf.
you will get stuck on dry pavement a lot more with air ride, and also there is a lot of twist on trailer
Holland makes a compensator fifth wheel that has oscillation to keep trailer stress down.
