Thanks John. I have looked at mine, it wasn't in the middle to begin with on my 1688, it was closer to the bottom similar to yours in the picture. I have turned it about one full turn thus far and the spring still has pressure on it where you cannot move it freely. I didn't want to tighten it any further unitl I had a few more answers. Once again thanks for you help.
