NC Kansas | Wow! Now that is very scary! I also carry one of those radios and now I'm going to be a lot more cautious of them. Matter of fact, I have 3 here in the house right now. What brand of radio was it? We use Kenwoods but run an off brand battery to save $$ and get more life. Did she charge it in a "slow" charger that charges continuously, or a "rapid" charger that will shut down after the battry is full?
