Actually, that's a Lincoln Continental before the EPA and safety stuff is installed. According to Forbes Autos, the official announcement, by CEO Dieter Zetsche, is that they will begin selling the two-seat Smart Car in the U.S. during the first quarter of 2008. Personally I'd kind of like one for a second car. I'd still want my LeSabre for hauling the grandkid, but for just local driving they look interesting.
