| We had problems with our F800, 429. If it is the same, there
is a boost pump in the tank plus the standard fuel pump.
The boost pump has two power sources, one from starter, the
second from coil via a oil pressure switch on the back of the
motor. Our problem was the oil pressure switch. I would
test for voltage at the tank pump with engine running. step two
to see if the pump is pumping fuel.
There require the boost pump because they couldn't get enough
gas up the standard gas line to keep motor running. | |
