| Awhile back I posted on having to replace a waterline that runs under our hog finishing building. We finally had the center pen empty so we could do the repair. We were able to run 1/2" pex tubing through the old 3/4" copper. Fortunatly the old pipe was a straight shot. We had to go about 50' and I think thats about as far as we could go. Any sharp bends or kinks and I don't think this would have worked. Capacity of the line is fine even in 100 deg heat. So now I hope no one here says pex and copper don't mix! | |
