hi, square tubing is nice to work with and great to cut with a chop saw for miter cuts and is available in assorted wall thicknesses. Pipe is basically the same as far as wall thickness goes from standard schedule 40 , 80, and 160. The 40 is the basic gas pipe and 80 and 160 are the heavy wall thickness stuff . I don't know how prices go where you are at BUT, steel prices here are by the pound . Doesn't matter if its angle, i-beams , channel, or square tubing. it all depends on how much you want to spend. if you go with square tubing for ends with pipe horizontally you could weld flat stock vertical for strength . thats how i built my outside pig lots.BOB
