Subject: Tell me about a Mayrath auger

Somewhere in North central Iowa

I'm looking at a 10" Mayrath next week. It has the gearbox inside the tube. I'm not familiar with this setup. Are they alright? Looks like a good auger but I wonder about maintenance later on.
