| We have a 42' bin with a powerseep & on our 4th year . After having one you will wish all your bins had them. (we're in the process of putting up another bin & it will have a powersweep as well). Only time we had trouble getting it to go on it's own was the first year and didn't quite get it close enough to the sumps. Learned to position it so that the sweep is just behind the outside sump & just in fron of the inner sump. It doesn't run nearly as fast as reg. sweeps, just a nice steady speed & doen't leave alot to clean up behind. Doesn't keep the unload auger full, probabaly about 75% but fuller than any of our other sweeps will. Have thought about putting the next size pulley on the motor but it would still run in the same proportion to the unload auger. To change the ratio you would have to change one of the sprockets in the gearbox. | |
