Go with 4" heavy wall square tube joined at the top for your posts (8' high) and then you can make square cuts on your round pipe you use as the rails. That is what I did. Works great. Saddling pipe is no fun. Be aware that if you try to bend square tube for a tub, it will not bend very consistently without a lot of effort.
