Subject: RE: He was asking about a real baler

Southern Illinois

Around here anyway the NH's don't have mechanical problems. It seems all the problems are due to sensor adjustments or electronics. I know of one guy who had a controller failure this year on a BB940. The baler mechanic removed the controller to send it in for repair. Then he turned a valve on the baler and the bale density can then be set manually. So the guy baled for almost 2 weeks strickly as a mechanical baler without the elctronics. Appearently when the valve is turned you can set the bale chamber pressure just like you do on a hydroformatic on a 570-575 small square baler.

Otherwise it seems most complaints are about the monitor saying there is a mistie when no mistie ever occurs. Some guys really hate that.
