Subject: local parts

Pittsburg, Kansas

If they screw up they take care of it - that's not the problem and they are pretty good. The problem is if I order a part and it is not the right one (I look in the parts book and pick out the wrong part for example) or in one case point to the wrong one on their screen that is where they charge the 50% restock. It is on special order stuff but nearly everything is special order as they rarely have what I need in stock.

NAPA, Sloan, Shoup or about anyone else I do business with doesn't have a problem when I make a mistake and it is not like I make a lot of them or anything (at least concerning parts orders). I could understand maybe 10% for the trouble and handling - although NAPA has never charged me anything.

Guess some places want my business more than others - and that is where I will take my business when possible.
