| We bought a Gleaner head with Crary guards last year. We had difficulty setting the head to handle the very short beans and occassionally the head would flex causing a tine to catch the sickle. The Crary guards seemed very fragile compared to the tiger jaw guards on the old head. The guards were fairly spendy to replace. Plus I bought some new Crary sections for backups and they had the wrong sections in the box, not thrilled about driving 45 miles to take them back. Check to see who your nearest dealer is before buying. I didn't see anything performance-wise that justified using that brand. | |
