Subject: RE: livestock trailers

They are all about the same. I've got a featherlite had since 92'. The guys that we run cattle with all have featherlites and there is two Wilsons that are being pulled in our group. After five years on two track desert roads they all break. Wilsons are no better. The only problems we have with featherlites is the back end gates crack, and roll up doors also wear out. You get the first five years trouble free, then you do a little welding every year.

The only down side to Wilsons are the thin punch sides if you haul a lot of horses, they can kick the you know what out of them. And they don't have a side rail front and back of fenders. Your saddle horse isn't broke intill you can ride up and mount and dismount on trailer side( Featherlite broke).

I would buy from closest dealer( best service), and price. Either a featherlite, Wilson, or Merritt, Ebby(spelling ?)
