Flandreau, SD | The two pass is for compaction and to get air down in the the soil to help breakdown the residue. If you have no compaction, run it once. You said you didnot look at it or see it run. Sounds like you already did not like it before you did not see it!
You forgot to add the JD air cart to the cost of the striptill. JD have a scale on the box. You running a apple or an orange. Now you are getting closer to real world cost comparisons. Plus the train you got on that thing. Better have nice big endrows to turn around on. That will be about 100 feet long.
