| We have a Wooda 3180 batwing & would never buy another one & from what I have seen of their mounted mowers I wouldn't one of them either. We have a Bush Hog 7' mounted that we bought new in 1964 & has been to Hades & back & still going. Only thing that I have had to replace on it was a couple of the pto U-joints, one slip clutch, & have gone thru several sets of blades over the years. Gearbox has never been touched other than oil changed every year. The deck is getting so thin it will just about throw grass thru it but after 41 years of hard work it doesn't owe me a penney.
Bush Hog as well as the other lines offer several different levels of mowers. I would recomend paying the difference & getting a heavy duty model. You'll be glad you did in the long run. | |
