| I have a 5 row zone builder on 30" centers with the gauge wheels bolted on an extension on the ends. The wheel runs about 22' from the outside row. On the next pass it runs about 8" from the last pass and partially compacts what I just tilled. I see in the manual where you can put the gauge wheels on the inside. They will run back about even with the shanks.
My question is will the guage wheel interfere with the shanks and cause a recessed area between those two shanks after the tillage trip is made.
What are some of the experiences out there?
