I know in this area Woods does not have a great reputation. A lot of people had problems with the MD line of brush choppers. I had my gear box rebuilt twice in the first three years. The problem was Woods and they would not accept the blame but did at least pay for it. Shortly after that they released the Brush Bull line of choppers and they appear to be built a lot heavier. It is amazing what one bad product line can do to a reputation in an area. There are a lot of MD choppers sitting in the weeds around here as all the grape farmers that bought them got tired of having to fix them. I would look at Bush Hog and Rhino and compare them to the Woods brand. In the future I will probably get a Rhino. |
