| I am putting a new concave in 9600. JD guy told me to look at the square bushings the beater rides up and down on.
I wasn't going to but noticed the rod that connected the beater to the concave was worn 2/3 through. Pulled it out and the square bushings had holes in them. My grate was all busted to hell, with one slat clear gone and a couple others broken and bent.
I priced a new one at 600 dollars. We decided to weld it up instead of getting a new one.
Definately check the rod and the square bushings at the top they will need o be changed.
