| I would suspect that they will try to get you to go half on parts and still make you pay the labor for the original task of removal and replace the unit.That way you still pay for most of the "dea;er cost" of the unit/parts so then unit costs the dealer "NOT MUCH" No matter if it is right or wrong,that would be better than getting stuck with the whole bill yourself.......
The customor sort of gets the skid,Mechanics are suposed to know what they are doing , but stuff does get broken allot and the customor pays the bill most times.I think it is just plain ROTTEN to have a mechanic break something and not even say any thing about it yet alone not pay for ti if he is totally at fault for something obveious like this.. That is probablythe mechanics responsibility and the shop manager / and business head guy probably does not even know the details. | |
