Rich - 7/21/2006 01:01 I get damn teed off though when some bright assed sonofabitch thinks a whole damn tractor needs overhauled from the front windshield back, top to bottom, and make all of them like this so it accomidates handicapped people when I don't need the extra crap and I have to pay for it. I don't bitch about handicapped parking and I don't bitch about ramped sidewalks in town. It's good for special stalls with railing and elevators are a god send for alot of them. But joystick a tractor.........assembly line run.........just to accomidate handicaps and you and I pay for it??? Go back and re-read your post above, Rich. And then THINK about what you have said and you will see how idiotic you make yourself out to be. You say you shouldn't be forced to pay for handicap accessibility in a tractor, yet you say you have no problem with handicap parking or ramps in place of steps. Can I also assume you have no problem with elevators in buildings for the handicap?? Well, guess what buddy? YOU ARE PAYING FOR ALL OF THE ABOVE!! You don't see a coin collector at ramps and elevators forcing the handicap to pay for the convenience, do you? All of this cost money to store owners, etc and they simply pass the cost on to you and I. This whole argument is as stupid as one person who may have farmed his whole life on old tractors with steel seats and then decides to buy new saying he should not be forced to pay for a cushioned air-ride seat in that new tractor just because the old steel seats hurt Rich's fat arse. |
