Thanks for the suggestion. I do have enough time to wait for rust to make it fit but when it is almost 30’ above ground level I just might buy a smaller sheave and machine it to the correct size.
Next time I have a crew install an overhead auger I will supply a brand name motor with a top quality sheave and belts. Repairs that require a crane get too expensive.
