Fruita CO | Wheelin, I have a friend who was paralyzed from the waist down over 30 years ago in Vietnam, he has farmed on his own since then. He has a JD 4430 & a 4230, also a 4400 combine, rigged up w/ hand controls & winches. these were designed by a local implement dealer, who is no longer with us, but the winch setups are pretty ingenious. The boom folds in so that the door closes on the cab. This gentleman is one of my most admired people, to keep at it he has to be tough as nails... He has a hired man to irrigate & help w/hooking up implements, etc., but does most of the tractor work. If you would like, I'll see if he will let me post some pics of his tractors. I've done his mech. work for years.
