Brazilton KS | I think there are some differences evident here. I am a notill farmer, so I know what can be done with notill. I also know what doesn't work very well. We grow one crop in each category. I've learned what I know by actually growing crops for many years, and I have tried many things to get the second crop to work with notill. I do not have an unlimited budget to waste on this project, so it has not come to fruit yet. I'm sure you or some other consultant could, in your infinate wisdom, come in and show me and everyone else around here how to do it in a few hours even though more then just a couple of us have ten to fifteen seasons of effort invested at this point. I'm also smart enough to know that what I know about western alfalfa production doesn't even deserve enough credit to be written down, so I'll leave "advising" the guys who actually know what they are doing to the experts like you. |
