| we run 73/44/32 floaters on a 2388 and run stompers on row 2 and 7 like boog. works pretty well. as far as finding replacements the 73/44 is getting to be pretty common. i would stay away from the 68/50/32 tires. tire man said he wasn't sure if he could find one in a pinch if needed. the big tires are pricey but if you take some time you might be able to get a decent used pair. local coop sold a floater the new owner wanted new tires so we got a pair of michelins at 40% tread for 1800 and i found a used set of wheels for another 1800. depending on the machine you might be able to run the 66/43/25 which are very common. saw a set for 2000 with wheels. second machine we rent has 18.4/38 duals and the floaters are way better than the duals. the floaters bounce a little more on the road but unless you have to move a huge distance it isnt a problem. | |
