Subject: JD 4840 with a JD 1780 Vac Hydraulics?

Modena, Wisconsin
I am looking at JD 1780 planters and was going to get a finger unit because I have been told a 4320 will not handle the Hydraulic system on a vacuum. I have found a nice vacuum unit and have a 4840 I could pull it with the question is will the 4840 have enough better hydraulic system to be able to handle the vacuum? One place I have looked at listed the 4320 with 22 GPM @1900 PSI and the 4840 with 23 GPM @ 2300 PSI. Are those numbers right? Anybody with any experience with an older tractor pulling a vacuum planter I appreciate the input.
