I make sure our's is flushed out good then I hook the air compressor up to the fill line and blow all the lines out good so nothing can freeze. After it's all blown out I dump enough used anti-freeze in the tank to fill the pump to keep it from rusting. I've been doing it this way for several years and never had a problem.
