Subject: Re: 4630 compared to 4430

Centre county Pennsylvania, USA

We have both and use them nearly every day. Very little maintenance problems on either. The 4630 is stronger built than 4430 but it's not as fuel efficient for same work. We recently added EZsteer to 4430, it was a simple and trouble-free upgrade and makes the 4430 a much more operator friendly tractor for field work. We like it well enough that we will be upgrading 4630 to EZsteer also. Attached jpeg shows our EZsteer antenna mounting on 4430. Many dealers are recommending mounting antenna on front of hood for better turn sensing but ours works great when mounted top front of cab as shown. Bracket is homemade, 1/2 hour job with torch, welder and paint can.
